CUSTOM SOFTWARE / BUSINESS SOLUTIONSGianluca Cioni · Rome / Remote
Day-to-day work could be much simpler.
Manual tasks, scattered information, handoffs between people and tools: we start by identifying what slows down you or your team. I design and build custom software, automations and digital systems to simplify the processes that are actually worth improving.
You do not need to know which software you need. You can start from a situation that wastes time, creates errors or makes work more complicated than it should be.
01 / Workload
The workload keeps growing, but the day does not.
The team is constantly chasing deadlines and backlogs. You may be considering hiring someone to handle work that repeats in much the same way every time.
Possible consequences — More pressure on people, delays and less time for the work that matters.
02 / Customers
Responding to customers takes too long.
Requests, quotes, confirmations and updates arrive through different channels. Answering often means searching for information or chasing a colleague.
Possible consequences — Longer waits, missed handoffs and opportunities that can slip away.
03 / Data and documents
The same information gets entered more than once.
Data is copied between email, spreadsheets, documents and management systems. Someone then has to check that everything still matches.
Possible consequences — Hours spent copying data, fixing errors and slowing down cases or requests.
04 / Coordination
Work moves forward only when someone chases people.
The status of a task lives in a chat, a file or a colleague’s memory. When someone is away, everyone else has to reconstruct what needs to happen next.
Possible consequences — Interruptions, stalled work and unclear ownership.
05 / Repetitive operations
Every new customer creates more manual steps.
Collecting data and documents, sending reminders, checking status and keeping everyone updated requires the same operations again and again.
Possible consequences — Operational workload grows with the customer base, making it harder to maintain speed and quality.
06 / Specialized processes
The way you work does not fit the tools you use.
An important process is managed through files, messages and workarounds because available software does not really match your workflow.
Possible consequences — Unnecessary steps, fragmented information and difficulty following work from start to finish.
I do not sell one fixed type of software. Sometimes connecting two tools is enough; other times you need a portal, a dedicated application or an automation that removes repetitive work. These are some of the interventions we can consider.
01
Automations
For repetitive steps, reminders, checks and updates that should not have to be done manually every time.
02
Tool integrations
To move information between software and business systems, reducing duplicate entry and inconsistencies.
03
Customer and partner portals
To collect requests and documents, share updates and make the status of work visible.
04
Custom applications and software
To manage a specific workflow when existing tools do not fit or require too many compromises.
05
AI agents and features
To help people read, prepare and manage information, with verification and human control where needed.
WHEN IT IS WORTH TALKING
If a situation wastes time, creates recurring friction or limits what your team can handle, we can assess whether an intervention would be useful and sustainable. You do not need a minimum revenue level, a technical specification or a fully diagnosed problem.
Whether you run the company, coordinate a team or work in the process every day, you can tell me what is happening. If we decide to move forward with a project, we will involve whoever can evaluate the investment. We start with a scope I can personally own.
03 / HOW WE WORK
From the problem to a working solution.
We start from how you work today and what you would like to make simpler. Then we choose a proportionate solution: improve an existing tool, or design and build dedicated software where that is justified.
A short first conversation, free and without commitment.
You describe a recurring problem, who it involves and what it costs you in practice. The goal is to understand whether it makes sense to continue. It is not a full diagnosis and does not require access to confidential data.
02
We decide whether and how to investigate further.
If we already have enough information, I prepare a proposal directly. If substantial analysis or technical validation is needed, we agree the scope and fee for that work first.
03
We deliver a focused first intervention.
Before starting, we define the objective, price, responsibilities and how we will verify the result. We may improve the process, use existing software or build only what is missing. Any ongoing support is agreed separately.
04 / WHO RUNS THE PROJECT
You work directly with me. From the problem to real-world use.
I am Gianluca Cioni. I translate the needs of the people doing the work into technical solutions and follow them through to real-world use. I will be your direct point of contact, starting from a scope I can personally manage end to end.
I have worked on complex software projects and built products from scratch. One relevant example is Koordinato: a working pilot, still being validated with hospitality operators, that addresses the workflow from requests to quotes and follow-up. It is not a claim of economic results already achieved for other clients.
Which part of your work would you like to simplify?
Tell me about a task that takes too much time, a handoff that creates friction or a process you would like to manage better. You can contact me even if you are not the person who approves the investment. To start, please do not send confidential documents or data.
Tell me how you work.
Tell me what your business does and which part of the work you would like to improve, even if you do not yet know how. I will reply to understand whether a short initial conversation would be useful.
The initial conversation is free and limited in scope. If deeper analysis or a project is needed, we agree the work and fee before proceeding. No obligation to continue.
